Chicken curry night?

Love chicken? Try these.

Swaps for: Chicken breast, thighs, pieces and fillets

Plant-based chicken pieces soak up marinades and sauces just like the real thing, so they're perfect for curries, stir-fries, fajitas and pies.

Crumbed fillets and southern-fried styles cover fakeaway night, and ready-to-eat chargrilled pieces are brilliant for wraps and salads.

Cook it like you mean it

  1. Marinate pieces for 20–30 minutes before cooking for the most flavour.
  2. Many chilled pieces only need a few minutes in a hot pan — overcooking can dry them out.
  3. Frozen pieces can often go straight into a simmering sauce; check the pack timing.
  4. Crumbed fillets usually do best in the oven or air fryer rather than a pan.

Pack instructions always win — times vary between products. More in our cooking guide.
